The Last Patrol: Photo Essay.












Warilla beach has been patrolled by volunteer life savers since the Warilla Barrack Point SLSC’s founding in 1959.


Much of the lifesaver’s competition equipment is stored in the club house over winter.


Jordan White, 17, gets ready for the last volunteer beach patrol of the summer swimming season. “The surf club season’s gone so fast,” she says. “We train so hard all summer so it’ll be nice to have some time to relax.”
